I began in the financial services industry in 2006, starting my career in banking before transitioning to wealth management and becoming a Financial Advisor in 2017. A pivotal and defining moment in my financial career came during the Great Recession of 2008. During that time, I witnessed how good financial advice could greatly improve a client’s quality of life in times of financial uncertainty. This is also when I became fascinated with the concept of behavioral finance, the study of the influence of psychology on the behavior of investors. By coupling my years of financial industry experience with my deep understanding of the psychology of money, I help my clients reach their financial goals, maximize their portfolios, and most importantly, manage risk.
When I am not serving clients, I enjoy giving back to the community. My primary focus is serving on the Board of Directors at Liberty House, the child abuse assessment center for Marion and Polk Counties. I also serve on the Young Leaders Council for Family Building Blocks and am a Founding Member and Treasurer for the Salem Chapter of the Association of Junior Leagues International. I believe in promoting growth in the greater Salem area and am part of the Fly SLE Steering Committee. I hold memberships with the Keizer Chamber of Commerce, the Salem Chamber of Commerce, Hispanicpros Salem, and Travel Salem to name a few. In early 2020 I was part of a community-based committee tasked by the City of Salem to review and grade grants for The Community Development Block Grant, the HOME Fund, and the General Fund and from 2017 to 2019, served on the Leadership Team, the Advisory Council, and was co-chair of the Great Salem Race for Salem Young Professionals. From 2013-2017, I served as the Mid-Willamette Valley Lead for Carry the Load and on boards for the Volunteer Leadership Group and Business Resource Group.
A native Oregonian, you will often find me spending time outdoors biking, hiking, kayaking, camping, and fishing. My husband Blaze and I have two Rottweiler pups, Odin and Eisa.
